Nurturing Leaders: The Hwa Chong Prospectus

As DWHQ, we are proud to have had the opportunity to work on this project for Hwa Chong Institution, one of the most prestigious schools in Singapore. Our goal was to design a prospectus brochure that would appeal to prospective students graduating from primary school, showcasing the school's bilingual culture and strong corporate red color.

To achieve this goal, we designed the cover with the headline "Nurturing Leaders for the Nation" die-cut out to reveal the page behind it. The intention was to create a sense of intrigue and excitement for the reader, encouraging them to learn more about the school. The page behind it featured an image of the school building, with its clock tower as the centerpiece. This image provided a glimpse of the school, creating an immediate sense of familiarity and belonging for the reader.

The information in the brochure was carefully designed to bring out a key message for a quick pick by the receivers. We highlighted the school's commitment to excellence in both academics and character development, emphasizing its unique approach to bilingual education and its dedication to nurturing future leaders. The brochure was designed to showcase the many opportunities available to students, from sports and the arts to community service and global outreach programs.

Throughout the brochure, we incorporated the school's strong corporate red color to create a cohesive and impactful design. We used clean, modern typography and bold headlines to emphasize key messages and make the information easy to read and understand.

We are thrilled to hear that the brochure was very well received and was repeatedly reprinted for many years. As a design agency, it is our goal to create effective, memorable designs that resonate with our clients and their target audience. We are proud to have contributed to the success of Hwa Chong Institution and look forward to future opportunities to work with them.
